by Meenu	Good for legs at March 7, 2012 I have recently bought Braun Silk Epil.Tried it on full growth on legs ,it did pain first time .But then onwards its been a comfortable process of epilliating the legs with hair of length 2-3 cm long.Not good for sensitive areas like armpits .I would recommend it for hands and legs .Now am off the tension of visting parlour every 3 weeks!!
by Mimi from VA	Great Product at August 2, 2011 I've had this product for 3 years and it is great. I mostly use it on my legs but have used it on my upper lip. It picks up those tiny hairs. You have to make sure to clean it after every use.
by Anu from india	not even 6 months at June 29, 2011 I bought this epilator with great expectation. initially worked but with in 6 months i regret for buying this. the problem began like ---initially it started working wel for few minutes then slower and slower .next its heated up and Now it begns slow and gets stuck with every other hair.i am bugged the servce centers they mentioned dont know much and there are no replacement product information. its pathetic. i regret like anything for buying this
by ange	No lasting power at June 13, 2010 So this is my third braun epilator, first the yellow/ grey one then 2 like this one, (Braun Silk Epil X'elle), and they are simply not lasting very long. I paid $70+ to have it last less than a paltry 6 times or so. I will be in the market for another epilator, I like using them, but perhaps more research across brands this time.
by Camille from Nevada	Worth the Money at June 18, 2009 I spent about $70 for my epilator. It was much better than the Epilady with the coil I tried about twenty years ago. It takes a few passes to get all the hair, but as long as you stop once in a while and use the little brush to clean out the hair (including inside the epilator), it works fine. I like this better than waxing, and it keeps me from having to shave my legs everyday.

This work very well for underarm hair and for the pubic mound.I'm pretty pain tolerant but don't go anywhere near the "lips" down there or there will be much pain and maybe even some blood as someone mentioned earlier. This is not because of the product but due to the sensitive area. As an alternative, i snap on the trimmer blade the those sensitive areas. I have had this product for almost 2 yrs and it has yet to fail me.

I was really disappointed. Waxing takes so long but this didn't seem like a great alternative. Underarms and bikini were very painful.
by Lucci from VA	not a good choice at February 26, 2009 In less than 6 months it was not working well, very slow and get stuck with hair, and overheat, I'm ending up returning it to Braun. My old Braun of more than 4 years worked better that this.

by Lisa	Skin Damage! at March 14, 2008 It does a great job of epilation....but I've never had a problem with my Norelco/Phillips Satin Ice epilator (which lasted about three or four years) cutting me! When I do certain ...um, sensitive areas, it bit the skin and left me with several blood spots.......buyer beware. Great for legs, but don't even think of going near the "ladygarden" with this meanie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by naru from usa	disappointing at August 4, 2007 I bought it but got to use it twice with the ease that was fantistic. It was fast and almost removed all the unwanted body hair. i thought I found my best one. But alas! I was heartbroken when on the third use it became slow and stopped working once or twice. It got heated up. I have to wait for it cool down for it to get to start working again. I thought I paid too high a price for it to be used 2 times. Its definitely not worth it. Much ado about nothing!!!
