Strengths:
It removes hair with little pain no different from waxing, and its fast and very easy to use
Weaknesses:
i was disappointed that it was not cordless, but the cord is long enough.
Summary:
I
don't know why it took me so long to purchase one, I have been going to
a salon to get my waxing done in the past. Now I can do it in the
comfort of my own home, when I want to which is very important. I have
to say its has work great on my bikini line, its better than waxing,
there is no mess! I can't wait for the summer now.

Strengths:
very easy to use....while not totally painfree, it WAS remarkably
comfortable compared to other products in the same category....and it
really did get better with time, as they claimed....
Weaknesses:
it does hurt, but not too bad.....and it gets better....I did wish I
was able to only buy the product and not all the accessories it came
with that I will never use..
Summary:
All products that pull hair out by the root will hurt....but some more
than others.....this product made the claim of no pain....well, there
was some, but it was FAR more comfortable than other similar
products......I was pleasantly surprised.....and it does remove large
areas of hair fairly quickly......very good time-saver :)

Panasonic ES2045 Epilator and Shaver at November 2, 2008
I haven't seen anything written about this great product!
Features:
- 2 removable heads - Epilator & Shaver
- small, comfortable, 2 speeds
- Cordless, rechargeable
- Waterproof (can use in shower)
- Easy to use and clean.
- travel case included
This appliance is fabulous! The 2 different heads (shaving and epilating) snap on and off easily. There are 2 speeds. The epilator grabs small hairs, especially on the face. Handles curves and hard to reach places easily. Fits comfortably in the hand. The shaver has a grooming blade and a close shaving function. Very simple to clean. Price was about $75 at Target. Well worth it. It's wonderful!

Being a hairy guy I have tried everythin from shaving to electrolysis. I bought an epilator because when I waxed I would stay broke out for 6 weeks, not to mention waxing the chest/back is torture.
I have a good pain tolerance but this thing hurts like the devil! But, it is a hair ripping demon. I have the Optima and The Light Caress. I use the Optima for the large areas cause it just rips right on through.
I have very thick course hair. It is less painful on finer hairs.
Don't be nieve, you are pulling hairs from the root. It will hurt. I knew this. But pain is beauty. So I'm glad it does what it says it will. Plus, the effects are just as long lasting as waxing. Since th eepilator doesnt stick to my skin, the bumps have been less.
Im happy with this machine, less the pain commence!!

The best, but on my 2nd one at July 21, 2008
If you are going to invest in a good epilator, this is it. You might think you want to go cordless, but I have a smaller cordless version and it doesn't have near the power of this one. The 1st time you epilate, it will hurt like fire! I could only stand to do a small area at a time. After that first time, when you are just doing touch-ups, it barely even pricks. The claim of being hair-free for 4-6 weeks is inaccurate. My hairs do not grow back all at the same time, so I need to do a quick once-over every couple of days, but the hairs seem much less noticeable. The shape of this model makes it difficult to hold and should be improved upon. I dropped mine the other day, and now it is not tweezing like it should. I will definitely be replacing it with the same model. I have never used any of the accessories. Oh, and you do need to watch out for ingrown hairs.
